Can you please tell us about yourself?

Hello everybody, my name is Benjamin. I am 33 years old, and I'm French, living in France. I will soon be starting my MBA at HEC Paris.

Any particular reason why you applied for an MBA at this point?

First of all, I have a goal in my life to run a company. I have studied engineering previously, and now I want to start my career in the business and administration field. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and be a CEO, so this is the reason I applied for an MBA at this stage.

Why HEC Paris?

I have applied to other schools, too, but I chose HEC Paris for several reasons. Firstly, the program's duration is 16 months, divided into two eight-month parts. Second is the program's quality, as HEC is the best business school in Europe. It will provide me with the vast network I need, so these were my reasons for going to HEC Paris. It is also one of the oldest business schools in the world.

What was the most difficult part of the application process?

I think the duration of the process, you have to be ready if you want to apply. You'll have to work extra on weekends and manage everything simultaneously.

How was your association with Dr Hubert Silly?

Initially, I contacted Dr Hubert for only the application process and not the GMAT because it was crucial for me to get help in writing essays, letters, and everything. He helped me with good ideas and the strategy to write good essays and letters. I was so glad that I did it with his guidance.
