Could you please tell us something about yourself?

Hello everyone! My name is Emilia. I did my bachelor's from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in economics and management of art, culture & entertainment in England. I have now been accepted to IE Business School, which I'll be starting in January. All my studies have been in the field of management, and now I will be doing management at IE.

Any particular reason why you have always been into management?

chose to do a MIM because it is a highly valuable course that would provide me with international experience. I also did an exchange in business management last year from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico for my bachelor's. I loved the culture of Latin America, so I wanted to go on with the Spain culture and the job opportunities the IE Business School may give. Well, management has always been something in which I have a strong interest.

Since you have just graduated, how did you manage your studies, the GMAT, and the application process simultaneously?

For all the students in the same situation, I would say to give yourself time as it takes a lot of time. As for me, I studied from September to January to get accepted to this school. I was not going to lessons, not going to exams because I was preparing for the GMAT exam and the interviews and all that stuff.

What was the most difficult part of the application process when you look back at your journey?

I think the GMAT test was the most challenging part for me of the application process. I had people to help prepare for everything else, but you might do it wrong in the test, so this I found the most difficult.

How did you get in touch with Dr. Hubert Silly and the MBA Center?

When I was preparing for my test with a GMAT tutor, he introduced me to Dr Hubert, and he guided me for the interview and other things in the application process that was very helpful for me. So, it was a wonderful experience with him and the MBA Center team.

What tips would you like to give to the applicants who are applying for the IE?

For IE, I saw that they like entrepreneur ideas and creativity. And I think that you must show them why you want any specific program and be clear in your thoughts. So this would be my advice.
