There’s no essay on the Executive Assessment, while it shares sections and question types with the GMAT. The Executive Assessment test is also much shorter (only 90 minutes).
During the test, groups of questions are selected for you depending on your answer to the previous question, while the GMAT shows you one question at a time depending on whether you got the previous question right or wrong.
- What about registration fees?
You can schedule your test date after creating an account on GMAC. The test is given year-round andcosts $350.
- Do I need to take it?
Depending on the program you’re applying to, you may not need to take the Executive Assessment as part of the application process. If you do decide to take it, the Executive Assessment will evaluate some on-the-job skills including critical thinking and problem-solving, for which extensive test preparation will not be required.
