Step 2 : Admissions jury, official notification of admissions, and interview
Your application will be considered by our admissions team once all the required documentation is submitted. Applicants can check their status through the student portal on a regular basis to make sure that their file is complete. Documents will be shown as “received” after being validated by the Admissions Team.
After submitting all your documents you may be shortlisted for an interview, which is a mandatory requirement for ESADE admission. Selected applicants are interviewed by an associate director of admissions.
Official interviews for the ESADE MBA programme can be conducted in person either in Barcelona or at one of our international off-campus admissions events. Alternatively, if you cannot attend an admissions event or visit the campus in Barcelona, the interview can be done via Skype.
Step 3 : Final decision
After the official interview, your application will be considered by the admissions committee, which comprises faculty members and the entire admissions team. The decisions of the admissions committee are final. You will find the final decision from the admissions committee in your Student Portal.
Due to the confidential nature of committee decision-making, we regret that feedback on rejected applications is not given.
Who is ESADE looking for?
Each year ESADE receives thousands of applications, but only admits less than 190 students into its renowned MBA program. With an emphasis on diversity and innovative energy, the ESADE MBA teaches students to act creatively, seize the opportunity, challenge conventional wisdom, and develop innovative leaders who work responsibly and put new ideas into practice.
With this in mind, the average admitted student has a strong GMAT score of around 660 and 5,7 years of work experience. However, the admission committee is fast to point out that there is no standard magical formula for admission. Instead, you should show WHY you will be an asset to the ESADE MBA program and how you fulfill their search for students with diverse, creative and innovative backgrounds.
