Could you please tell us more about yourself?
My name is Adrien, and I'm from Belgium. I'm a graduate of KU Leuven, where I received my master's degree in law. I am involved in many volunteering activities. I was the head organizer of a scout section, "Eclaireurs", and have been volunteering as a legal advisor for years now.
What prompted you to do master’s in management?
So, after my master's, I had two options, to work as a lawyer for some time, take the exam, then do an MBA to switch my career or do it now and start it earlier. I chose to start there, and I also wanted to get international exposure and work abroad like some of my friends who have worked with Dr Hubert.
Why City University Cass?
One of my friends who had worked with Dr Hubert and received a GMAT score of 640 was able to apply to London Business School. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it, but when I figured it out with Dr Hubert, I learned about City University Cass that could perfectly fit my career goals, and that's how I landed up here. That was the only school I applied to, and after the first interaction with the school, I was impressed with the quality of class and environment.
What advice would you like to give to future candidates applying for a master's in management?
My first piece of advice would be to start applying early. I started working on my process with only one and a half months to go, and it was challenging at that time, but with the support and guidance of Dr Hubert and the team, I managed it successfully. Secondly, you must keep your focus. If you think a master’s in management is right for you, you have to take the best possible one and get help from professionals. It turned out well for me, and I wouldn't have done it without their support.
It was such a nice conversation Adrien, thanks a lot for taking the time.
