Alexandre, could you tell me more about yourself?
I am Alexandre, and I'm French. I graduated with a degree in business management from EDHEC Business School. After my master's, I decided to join the Japan Tech Club in Tokyo and then worked for Havas Sports & Entertainment at the Major Events Unit - Olympic Projects. After that, I moved to Singapore and worked in operation directions at Singapore Sports Club.
Why an MBA?
It might sound strange since I'm a graduate of EDHEC, ranked 5th in European schools and among the top schools globally, and have plenty of good experiences in my past, but now I want to work for the Olympic Community. For that, I need the best possible education and degree.
Why did you choose INSEAD?
I will be getting a degree in business, and when I started applying, I was only 20 years old and didn't want to wait too long to get a reputable degree. My sister had also studied at INSEAD, and she was delighted with the program and the school. With INSEAD being one of the best business schools, I wanted to start as early as possible to experience more and to have a French network there.
Many congratulations on being accepted to your dream school. Any advice you would like to give?
The first is to get a good GMAT, as you wouldn't be able to get into a top MBA if you don't have a good score. Second, be ambitious and get the best out of it as it's a significant investment. Last but not least is to be surrounded by the best. I was glad to get in touch with Dr Hubert, who supported me throughout the application process, including interviews, the GMAT, essays, letters, etc. He is the only one who has over 3000 students accepted to top business schools around the globe. It was my pleasure to work with the MBA Center.
