Could you please tell us more about yourself?
My name is Geoffroy, and I'm French. I graduated from Isep Engineering School, and after my graduation, I joined BNP Paribas as a Project Manager. Apart from working and studying, I enjoy tennis and movies.
Why an MBA?
I wanted to make a career change, and I thought an MBA would allow me to do that in a way I wanted and in areas of my interests, like acting, movies, etc.
How did you get drawn into these interests?
Since I was a kid, I have been interested in acting and movies. I was 15 when I started acting in films, which I enjoyed, and now I want to live for my passion. If you ask me why I didn't start this earlier, I would like to say that being good at maths and science was a safe road for me to do engineering. I now want to follow my passion and enjoy life.
Why UCLA?
UCLA is an ideal choice for someone who wants to work in the entertainment industry. It is, of course, very well connected to the movie industry, and prominent directors come to take classes there, so my ideal choice was UCLA as the program and the school is considered the best in the world.
Piece of advice that you would want to give.
My advice would be to follow your dreams and get ready for them. Whatever your interest or passion is, give it a chance, and you can do it.
How was your experience with the MBA Center?
UCLA is the best school for me, and it wouldn't have been possible without the MBA Center to get accepted and achieve a GMAT score of 690. Dr Hubert has been very supportive and helped me work on my application in the best way possible. My brother and I took the services of the MBA Center and Dr Hubert's guidance. We are so happy that we could start our journey to our dream schools because of him!
