Study Plan

How long does SAT preparation take?

Most students prepare over two to three months alongside school, and plan two sittings so a retake still arrives before their deadlines. A typical plan with MBA Center:

Diagnostic test

In Bluebook, to set a section score baseline and a target for each university.

Weeks 1–4

Math content (algebra, advanced maths, problem solving, geometry) and Reading and Writing question types.

Weeks 5–8

Timed modules, adaptive-test strategy and the built-in graphing calculator.

Weeks 9–12

Full-length practice tests, error logs reviewed with your tutor.

Test day and retake

Book an autumn sitting with a winter retake for regular-decision deadlines, and choose your four free score sends.
