Two Routes

Bocconi University or SDA Bocconi?

The name ‘Bocconi’ covers two different routes, and the application is quite different for each:

Bocconi MSc admissions for 2027–28

Bocconi University selects international MSc applicants in four rounds. Earlier rounds matter: Bocconi says places on the most sought-after programmes and most scholarships are more likely to go in the early rounds.

How Bocconi evaluates you: your GMAT, GRE or online Bocconi test result; your undergraduate grades and transcripts; and your dossier and motivation. The minimum GMAT Focus Edition score to take part in selection is 485 (500 on the previous GMAT), and the GRE General Test at Home is not accepted. The application fee is €100. Bocconi admissions: frequently asked questions

What are the Bocconi MSc application rounds for 2027–28?

Bocconi University has four rounds for international MSc applicants: 1–29 October 2026, 30 October 2026 to 26 January 2027, 27 January to 11 March 2027, and 12 March to 29 April 2027. Results are published on 17 December 2026, 4 March, 13 April and 10 June 2027.

Do I need the GMAT for a Bocconi master’s?

You need a GMAT, GRE or online Bocconi test result. The minimum GMAT Focus Edition score to take part in selection is 485 (500 on the previous GMAT), and the GRE General Test at Home is not accepted.

What is the difference between Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi?

Bocconi University runs two-year Master of Science programmes, mainly for recent graduates. SDA Bocconi is its school of management, which runs the 12–15 month Full-Time MBA and executive programmes for experienced professionals.

When are the SDA Bocconi MBA deadlines?
