Wharton

Wharton MBA Admissions Consulting

Wharton received 7,613 applications for its Class of 2027 and enrolled 888 students. Its application is short: two essays, one recommendation and, if you are invited, a Team Based Discussion instead of a classic interview. That leaves little room for a weak story. MBA Center has helped candidates into Wharton since our founder, Dr Hubert Silly, was admitted there himself, with Wharton admits across our published stories, including a GMAT raised from 720 to 760 and a 770 scorer admitted at 23.

Interview

The Wharton Team Based Discussion

Interviews are by invitation only. Instead of a one-to-one interview, Wharton runs a 35-minute virtual Team Based Discussion (TBD) with five or six other applicants, assigned at random. Your group works from a prompt towards a tangible outcome, and Wharton watches your communication style, engagement, leadership and decision-making. A 10-minute one-to-one conversation with a member of the admissions team follows, in which you reflect on the discussion.

• Mock TBDs in a group of candidates, with feedback on how you contribute, listen and move the team forward. Interview preparation → · Group interview preparation →
