Could you please tell us about yourself?
My name is Bruno, and I am a graduate of Université Paris Dauphine. After my graduation, I worked as a senior financial controller. I'm French, and I have spent most of my life in France.
What prompted you to do an MBA?
Even though I graduated from a top university specializing in strategy, planning, and control, that was not enough for me, wanting more investment banking experience to create a career. I know that the heart of the finance industry is in London, and I have always wanted to work there.
Why London Business School?
London Business School corresponds precisely with my goals, and it's in London, the most dynamic city in Europe where you can live. The London Business School is one of the most reputed schools for finance, and its 2-year program is what I need.
What about the application process?
The GMAT preparation was very smooth for me, and after three months of preparation, I got a GMAT score of 700. The quality of service and the guidance from Dr Hubert helped me a lot in that. Initially, I was blinded by the school's rankings and applied for INSEAD, but Dr Hubert told me that the London Business School was the best-fit program that I only realized later.
What advice would you like to give to the applicants?
Don't be blinded by rankings. Talk to people around you because you should look for the program and school that matches your objectives and is the best fit. Do not hesitate to ask for help from the professionals as the lack of information can get you in trouble!
Do your research! Talk to the professionals and then decide the program and the school for you. We can help you with that, as we know how significant this investment is for you. Contact us at The MBA Center, and our experts will make it easy for you.
