Can you tell us about yourself?
I am a graduate of KEDGE Business School, where I got my bachelor's and then master's degrees. After working at KEDGE, my career was primarily in sales and business development, first in the US and then in Paris, France.
Why an MBA?
Firstly, I want to stay and pursue a life in the US, and I need a degree there to work. Secondly, I know that it's impossible to work for fortune 500 companies if you are not a graduate of the top 10 or 20 business schools. I wanted to grow my network, and an MBA would allow me to develop this in my career.
Why Georgetown University?
As I got the GMAT score of 600, it was challenging to target other top-tier schools in the US, and I wanted to live my life in the US, as I said. With the help of Dr Hubert and the team, I finally managed to get my suitable program at Georgetown University. I got accepted to both Georgetown and Duke. Georgetown is a city with a lot of diversity and outstanding teachers that could help me grow and achieve more in my career.
Tell us something about the admission process?
The admission process has not been easy because my maths and English was not very good, and it was a struggle to reach the GMAT score of 700. If you are in the same situation and not a good student, please get help from professionals like Dr Hubert and the team at The MBA Center. Their guidance and support were the only way I could have made it.
What advice would you give to the candidates?
Don't be discouraged by the process, as it's long and frustrating. Take the help from experts to make it easy for you to find a suitable program and school. I got the GMAT score of 350 when I started, and it took me around five months to make it to 550, and finally 600.
In the end, you shouldn't lose hope no matter how challenging the process and preparation is. Get help from professionals and work on your application. Contact us at The MBA Center if you need any help, and we will make sure you make it to your dream B-school!
